Position Overview: Asure Wound Solutions is on the lookout for a proficient and committed Wound Care Clinical Consultant to become a part of our dynamic team. This role is designed for remote work and requires substantial experience in nursing home environments or long-term care settings, along with a robust foundation in wound management. Candidates should be prepared for travel, with the possibility of driving distances up to two hours.
Compensation: The starting salary for this role is $75,000 annually.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities in Wound Care:
- Deliver clinical guidance and support to nursing facilities and long-term care organizations in the treatment of wounds and related health issues.
- Formulate and execute wound care strategies for residents in partnership with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on effective wound care practices, product usage, and equipment handling.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and appropriate wound care interventions.
- Track and document wound healing progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in wound care management.
Qualifications for Wound Care:
- Possession of an active nursing license.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
- Wound care certification is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of wound care principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel, including driving distances up to two hours.
