Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at APN Consulting Inc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting and be proficient in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill medical and surgical patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with sepsis, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and other complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or compact state.
- 1 year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in an ICU.
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required; NIH and CCRN certifications preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
