Work hour shifts, Friday-Sunday 9:00am-9:30pm with holidays, at Inova Fairfax Medical Center.

Job Summary:
The Computed Tomography Technologist administers sound patient care practices, according to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety. Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography.
Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
Tracks patients according to department procedures and identifies errors, taking immediate action for corrections.

Requirements:
Certification - American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist.
Upon Start - Basic Life Support and Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within one year of acceptance.
Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist within 12 months for INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers.
Experience - None required.
Education - Graduate of an accredited school of radiography and ARRT required.
