The Los Lunas Schools is seeking a highly skilled Registered School Nurse to join our team. As a Registered School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting a climate of health and well-being for each student in our district schools.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the principles of health and education to promote a climate of health and well-being for each student in the district schools.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among students.
- Provide medical care and first aid to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement health-related policies and procedures.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify students with health needs.
- Develop and implement plans to address health needs and promote healthy behaviors among students.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: Licensed to practice in New Mexico.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma Nursing program graduate from a regionally accredited college, university or institution accredited by the National League of Nursing.
- Nursing experience: Two (2) or more years of relevant practice as a Registered Nurse.
Salary and Work Year:
As established by the Los Lunas Schools current Registered School Nurse Salary Schedule.
