Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate patient medical records; and communicating patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
  • Assess the psychological, social, and emotional needs of patient's family/significant others.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN is preferred.
  • At least six months of experience as an RN.
  • Current New Mexico RN License.
  • Current BLS.
