This position is for a skilled Automotive Glass Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for the replacement and repair of damaged windshields and window glass in various motor vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean damaged areas by removing dirt, debris, and loose glass
  • Apply primer to the edges of windshields or windows
  • Install new glass in vehicles with precision
  • Ensure proper curing of glass components
  • Prime any scratches found on pinch welds
  • Inspect for and eliminate moisture or contaminants
  • Select the right tools, safety gear, and parts for the job
  • Replace broken or damaged glass as needed
  • Install, repair, or replace safety glass and associated materials
  • Seal windows effectively using rubber channeling strips
  • Shape or smooth the edges of glass as required
  • Cut flat safety glass according to specified dimensions
  • Adjust or replace window-raising mechanisms when necessary
  • Install foam dams on pinch welds if required
