Position Summary:

Showit is in search of a skilled Lead Software Application Engineer to become an integral part of their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the enhancement of their flagship product, which is predominantly developed using JavaScript (featuring both React for the frontend and backend), alongside integration with various databases and cloud solutions such as AWS. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with WordPress for theme design integration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing customer-facing applications utilizing the React framework on a Node server, which includes interfacing with multiple APIs and AWS services.
  • Improving internal tools to boost support and administrative productivity.
  • Offering advanced troubleshooting assistance to the customer service team.
  • Maintaining system integrity, security, and adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
  • Investigating emerging technologies and assessing their potential influence on the business.
