Wood County Hospital is looking for a dedicated Medical Office Nurse (RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, administering injections, educating patients, and performing essential clerical tasks, including managing prior authorizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient care based on their presenting conditions.
- Develop nursing diagnoses and create intra-procedure care plans following initial assessments. Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient care. Review schedules for role assignments and cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient responses and evaluations of nursing interventions.
Work Schedule:
Hours: Full Time, 32 hours per week
Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Qualifications:
Required Certification:
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio, or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
