AA2IT is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance testing of in-process samples, raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Analyze and record test results, effectively communicate with operations teams, and interpret and follow documented procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with lab and production personnel to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring continuous quality and efficiency.
- Utilize software tools such as HCL Notes, LabWare, SAP, and Microsoft Office to evaluate data, generate quality reports, and support quality control activities.
- Ensure the suitability of laboratory equipment through proper operation, maintenance, calibration, verification, and good quality control and assessment activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent experience in a chemical manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, with a strong understanding of chemical and instrument measurement processes.
- Basic understanding of general chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, quality assurance and quality control principles, math, and statistics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Previous quality control experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasional use of stairs and respiratory protection.
