Job Title: CDL Crane Rigger

At Sterling Crane LLC, a leading provider of heavy lift services, we are seeking a highly skilled CDL Crane Rigger to join our team in Pleasanton. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials.

Job Summary

The CDL Crane Rigger will work closely with our crane operators to haul heavy equipment and assist with the building of mobile cranes. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Haul heavy materials and equipment using CDL-licensed vehicles
  • Signal crane operators during lifts to ensure accurate placement and directional instructions
  • Climb structures with safety harness to guide and position loads
  • Ensure all rigging is safe and reliable before engaging in hoisting and lifting
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL A license required
  • NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
