We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Trauma team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
- ACLS required within 30 Days
- Registered Nurse in TX or hold a compact license
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- No On Call
- Rotating Weekends
- Must have at least 1 year PCU or Med/Surg Experience in a Hospital Setting
