About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Finisher to join our team at Enovis Foot & Ankle. As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various activities to manufacture small orthopedic products, including deburring, assembly, laser marking, cleaning, and passivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in-house cleaning, passivation, and anodization of manufactured products
- Maintains cleaning, passivation, and anodization equipment maintenance and repair logs
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specification, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks
- Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs
- Participate in quality control/assurance related activities
- Perform equipment maintenance activities as required
- Responsible for deburring metal parts by means of hand finishing, equipment-assisted deburring, polishing, etc.
- Responsible for laser marking devices to drawing specifications
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in deburring
- Mechanically inclined
Work Environment:
- Climate-controlled workspace
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent to constant use of hands and fingers, to handle or feel, and to manipulate in a variety of different body positions or postures
- Frequent to constant holding, grabbing, grasping, pinching, turning, or otherwise working with hands and fingers ranging from dexterous to forceful in nature
- Frequent to constant lifting or exertion of force of up to 35 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
- The employee is constantly or frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, frequently to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to judge dimensions and spatial relationships
