Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide detailed budgets for projects at the conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents level.
  • Conduct hard bid and competitive estimating for plan and spec projects.
  • Collaborate with the service department to provide estimates for smaller projects with line-item budgets.
  • Perform value engineering analysis to optimize project costs.
  • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously and present them to customers, providing supporting documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal associates to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop scopes of work based on limited information.
