Job Title: Health Promotion

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Promotion Specialist to join our team at Diné College. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs to promote wellness and prevent disease among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs to improve student wellness awareness and behaviors.
  • Provide direct guidance and support to students experiencing isolation, boredom, anxiety, and stress.
  • Collaborate with campus-wide committees and teams devoted to student wellness.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners to develop awareness and access to materials supporting behavior and lifestyle change.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform health education programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in public and/or medical health education, psychology, social work, student affairs, nursing, or education.
  • Two years of conducting professional presentations, seminars, or closely related program and/or providing health education experience.
  • Working knowledge of current laws and best practices related to FERPA, HIPAA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Strong planning, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
