Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Scrub Technician to join our team at Pasadena Surgery Center, a Sight360 company. As a Certified Scrub Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures by providing exceptional support to our surgeons and surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function as a scrub technician in the operating room, assisting the surgeon with sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with gowning and gloving other members of the surgical team.
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist with draping patients and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Handle specimens and instruments with care, adhering to sterile technique and protocols.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, supplies, and the operating room environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
Requirements
  • SPD experience a plus
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Knowledge of Ophthalmic Surgeries - Preferred
