The Swell Server (On-Call) is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Receive and deliver food and beverage orders, collecting payment and handling cash transactions.
- Be familiar with menu offerings, specials, and restaurant operations, including the Point of Sale system.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, side-work duties, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Upsell food, beverage, and promotional items to guests, consistently meeting sales targets.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with experience in a hotel or food service industry preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maneuver in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
