Job Description

Sonsoft, Inc. is a USA-based corporation with a strong presence in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services.

We are seeking a highly skilled Datastage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end RDBMS and data modeling/database design, with a focus on Oracle and DB2.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBM Datastage (v8.5 and above) ETL Projects. They will also have a strong understanding of data loading techniques using Datastage, as well as experience with Datastage Director for running and monitoring jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL processes using Datastage
  • Develop and maintain Datastage sequences to run batch jobs
  • Implement best practices in Datastage, including performance improvements and CDC
  • Work with Unix/Linux systems, file systems, and shell scripting
  • Provide expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on development mentality
  • Experience in Financial domain and Global delivery environment
