Job Title: Mechanic

First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Kansas City. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Assist with mobile emergency services and respond to breakdowns
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL
  • ASE certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
