Key Highlights:
- Be part of a dedicated team of 5 Orthopaedic Trauma Specialists, managing over 110,000 emergency room visits and more than 3,000 trauma activations each year.
- Experience the benefits of an academic appointment at a prominent Level 1 trauma facility.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1 in 6 weekends and 1 day per week.
- Access to 13 dedicated orthopaedic trauma operating rooms weekly, with protected surgical time on weekends.
- Receive 24/7 first call support from a team of 10 full-time Advanced Practice Clinicians or residents.
- Collaborate closely with a team of Trauma Acute Care Surgeons for comprehensive support.
- Engage with a diverse range of complex trauma cases, including pelvis/acetabular injuries, peri-articular fractures, and care for multiply injured patients.
- Opportunities for teaching and mentoring residents, orthopaedic trauma fellows, physician assistant students, and medical students.
- Foster excellent relationships with other medical services such as Trauma Acute Care Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology.
