Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Science Enthusiast to join our team at Mad Science of Southern MA & RI. As a key member of our team, you will lead children through engaging science programs that inspire curiosity and creativity.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to share your passion for science with children in a fun and interactive environment. You will be responsible for leading hands-on science activities, demonstrating scientific concepts, and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Responsibilities
  • Lead science enrichment programs for elementary-aged children using our pre-set curriculum.
  • Travel to program locations such as schools, recreation departments, and libraries.
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic and engaging presentation style to keep children interested in science.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children is an asset.
  • A reliable car for travel to program locations.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate scheduling needs.
  • A dynamic and fun personality to engage with children.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $22-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This rate reflects the company's commitment to providing competitive compensation for its part-time employees.
