Exciting Opportunity for Gastroenterologists

We are seeking highly skilled Gastroenterologists to join our team at the Redding VA Outpatient Clinic. As a Gastroenterologist at our facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the expansion of specialty services offered to our Veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform outpatient GI consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, alternative work schedule may be available; Part-time physician schedule negotiable; No overnight or weekend call
  • Recruitment or Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized
  • Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Position Eligible
Requirements:
  • Be a US citizen or PRA (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with [38 U.S.C. 7407(a)]
  • Possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state
  • Board prepared/certified in Internal or Family Medicine, and board prepared/certified in Gastroenterology
  • Confirm vaccination for seasonal influenza and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which are both requirements for all Health Care Personnel (HCP) employed by Department of Veterans Affairs

Preferred experience: board certified in Gastroenterology
