Job Title: Building Official

We are seeking a certified Building Official to join our team at GMP Consultants. As a Building Official, you will be responsible for enforcing the State of Washington Building Code and related construction codes and ordinances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine plans and specifications for compliance with building codes and ordinances
  • Issue permits and conduct field inspections of structures in all stages of construction, alteration, and repair
  • Assess penalty fees for work without a permit
