Compensation Package

The compensation package for this Patient Account Representative role includes a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 - $18.00, providing an attractive earning potential. This rate reflects the importance of this role in assisting patients with resolving their Self-Pay balances.

Job Description

This role involves interacting with patients over the phone to establish payment plans, update insurance coverage, and provide exceptional customer support. As a member of our client's business office, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls, making outbound calls, and meeting or exceeding established metric goals. Your ability to empathize with patients and communicate financial responsibility in a helpful manner will make a significant impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Helping Patients Understand Financial Responsibility: You will work closely with patients to understand their financial obligations and develop effective payment plans that meet their needs.
  • Taking Inbound and Making Outbound Calls: You will engage with patients over the phone to resolve outstanding balances and provide timely updates on their accounts.
  • Meeting Established Metric Goals: You will strive to exceed set targets by delivering excellent service, ensuring high patient satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At Least 6 Months of Experience: Handling patient/customer interactions in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Computer System Proficiency: Familiarity with utilizing computer systems to manage patient accounts and resolve issues efficiently.
  • MS Suite Software Expertise: Proficiency in using Microsoft software applications to perform daily tasks.
  • Valid High School Diploma or GED: A minimum educational requirement for this position.
  • EPIC Experience (Preferred): Previous experience working with EPIC systems can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
