Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Node Site Coordinator to oversee and guide the program's executive support team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate their proficiency and experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment, effectively integrating with a multi-contractor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities, manage resources, and ensure the effective functioning of node sites in compliance with DoD standards and protocols.
  • Act as the main liaison for node site operations, coordinating between onsite staff and various stakeholders to fulfill mission objectives.
  • Administer resources, including equipment, personnel, and materials, to efficiently support DODIN operations.
  • Offer technical assistance and direction to onsite teams, addressing and resolving operational challenges as they occur.
  • Collaborate with the DoD global mission in accordance with directives, ensuring mission objectives are achieved during designated hours and as needed.
  • Regularly check the Tech Control group email for DoD ASI messages, work with the ASI team, and manage DoD ASI requests through designated channels.
  • Analyze ASI messages for potential customer impact, notify customers accordingly, and submit necessary updates to the Government via the established tracking system.
  • Maintain accountability, documentation, and resource management for all designated node assets within Technical Control and related facilities.
  • Facilitate the Concurrence Letter Process among DoD leadership to ensure operational needs are satisfied.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Background in telecommunications, network operations, or technical support roles.
  • Familiarity with DoD regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, outstanding communication and customer service capabilities, adeptness in managing technical resources, and a solid grasp of network infrastructure and telecommunications systems.

Education and Certifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, telecommunications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 is required.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification is preferred.
