Auditory Specialist

The Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of $57,895.50 - $68,683.68, based on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for an individual who can evaluate patients' hearing and determine the nature and extent of any impairments. The Audiologist will also provide non-medical rehabilitation through hearing aid evaluation and selection, speech reading training, and auditory training. Prevention of hearing impairment is also a key aspect of this role.

In this position, you will be responsible for interviewing patients, administering audiology procedures, formulating and administering treatment plans, counseling and instructing patients, writing reports, and maintaining patient records. You will also participate in staff meetings and represent the center at community events.

The ideal candidate will have experience with sophisticated testing equipment, accurate administration of testing procedures, and interpretation of test results. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, thorough knowledge of the auditory system and its disorders, and adherence to the Code of Ethics established by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
