Nursing Instructor

About the Job:

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Instructor to teach nursing students at Visalia Unified School District. As a Healthcare Educator, you will be responsible for providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a valid California Adult Education Credential: Nursing or Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential: Health Science and Medical Technology, as well as a valid RN or LVN License. Additionally, the candidate should possess at least one year of long-term care experience and have knowledge of methods and strategies used to instruct bilingual/culturally diverse students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach nursing students and provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers
• Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of nursing students
• Provide instruction and support to students in a clinical setting
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Benefits:

This is a part-time position with an estimated salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The district offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
