Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and measuring.
