Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forensic Technician to join our team at Atlantic Diagnostic Laboratories LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated tasks to support testing of biological samples, including urine, blood, vitreous fluid, and other tissues.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, slides, and other necessary services to perform laboratory procedures.
  • Ensure inventory levels are sufficient and appropriate, including ordering supplies to prevent shortages and verifying expiry dates.
  • Follow proper laboratory safety procedures and maintain required electronic and hardcopy departmental records.
  • Comply with laboratory safety protocol and practices universal precautions.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by department supervisor or director.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science or related field.
  • Strong communications skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic, initiative, flexibility, and innovative thinking.
  • Accuracy with exceptional attention to detail.
