Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in medical imaging. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced imaging techniques.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive pay range of $32.04 to $40.14, with additional rates for specialized procedures such as CT and Mammography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer patient services utilizing various imaging modalities.
  • Conduct radiographic examinations and assess images for technical accuracy.
  • Utilize professional judgment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
  • Provide essential patient care throughout the imaging process.
  • Identify patient conditions that necessitate immediate intervention and initiate appropriate life support measures.
  • Perform clerical tasks to maintain an efficient operational workflow within the department.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained to achieve optimal performance.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and assist in data collection for compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the retrieval of imaging records from external storage facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Imaging Program.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated competency in relevant imaging practices.
  • Valid state credentials, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.

In addition, candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of age-specific needs across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics, as it pertains to radiologic procedures.


Additional Information:

When applicable, designated technologists may be assigned specific roles such as QA/QC responsibilities or clinical instruction for radiology students. Specialized technologists will perform CT scans and Mammograms as required.
