We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our team at Abacus Group, LLC in White Plains, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client relationships and manage all aspects of client accounts.
  • Provide effective consulting, planning, and compliance services to clients.
  • Document tax issues and identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy of tax returns and minimize tax liability for clients.
  • Support business development activities and contribute to the expansion of our client base.
  • Supervise staff and provide coaching on their career development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Public, private, or combination background.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Office, CCH, QuickBooks, and RIA Checkpoint.
  • Previous experience with Profx, Caseware, or Go File Room preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.
