We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our team at Golden Orchards Senior Care Facility. As a Resident Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life and promoting a sense of community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Engage residents in activities and encourage social interaction
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping duties
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to supervisors
- Complete required documentation and charting
- Communicate effectively with families, support services, and colleagues
- Assist team members with their duties as needed
- Comply with safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with the elderly preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Positive attitude and punctuality
