Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- One year of experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred.
