Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Crop Cultivation:
    1. Develop and implement effective crop cultivation strategies to optimize plant growth and yield.
    2. Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and light levels.
    3. Implement integrated pest management (IPM) techniques to minimize the use of chemical pesticides and maintain a healthy ecosystem.
    4. Collaborate with the greenhouse team to ensure seamless crop rotation and efficient use of resources.
  • Pest and Disease Management:
    1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent and manage pests and diseases in the greenhouse.
    2. Monitor plants regularly for signs of pests or disease and take prompt action to mitigate risks.
    3. Collaborate with the greenhouse team to maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Soil Management:
    1. Monitor and maintain optimal soil health and fertility.
    2. Develop and implement strategies to improve soil structure and nutrient content.
  • Greenhouse Maintenance:
    1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the greenhouse is in good working order.
    2. Collaborate with the greenhouse team to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Harvesting and Post-Harvest Handling:
    1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize harvesting and post-harvest handling procedures.
    2. Collaborate with the greenhouse team to ensure seamless harvesting and packaging processes.
  • Record-Keeping and Compliance:
    1. Maintain accurate and detailed records of crop cultivation practices, including planting dates, crop rotations, and pest management activities.
    2. Ensure compliance with organic certification standards and regulations.
