About the Role

The Dishwasher is a vital member of our food service team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our kitchen. As a key player in our operations, you will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all tableware, serving materials, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure that all items are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Food Safety and Handling: Implement and adhere to our food safety policies and procedures, including the use of M.S.D.S. criteria and food handling best practices.
  • Waste Management: Remove all trash and maintain the loading and receiving areas in a safe and clean condition.
  • Inventory Management: Stock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and ready for service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all food service areas and equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, and refrigerators.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is highly desirable.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues, management, and guests.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit, if required by state or federal regulations.
