Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our Telemetry Monitoring department, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and functions for electro diagnostics, observing cardiac monitors, and identifying, calculating, interpreting, and communicating information regarding cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical procedures and functions for electro diagnostics
  • Observe cardiac monitors and identify, calculate, interpret, and communicate information regarding cardiac rhythms
  • Apply and discontinue telemetry services as instructed
  • Enter telemetry charges, edits, and other paperwork as applicable to the department
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cardiac monitor interpretation, skills, and abilities
Requirements
  • High School or GED
  • Medical terminology and CPR-basic
  • Ability to operate electronic and computer-based equipment
  • Ability to recognize technical inferior EKG and take corrective action as appropriate
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cardiac monitor interpretation, skills, and abilities
