Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Wright Tree Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our tree trimming and clearing crews, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Crews: Supervise a team of General Forepersons and their crews, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including employment, discipline, separation of employment, leaves of absence, and policy enforcement.
  • Training and Development: Train and coach employees, evaluate performance, and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Safety and Compliance: Conduct safety training, investigate accidents, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, property owners, and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and representing Wright Tree Service in a professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Manage daily production-related tasks, ensuring that all records and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years' experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews, or successful completion of applicable performance reviews.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations and multitask.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and correct arboricultural techniques. Possess ISA Certification, herbicide applicator or operator certification, and valid driver's license (CDL).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to all kinds of weather.
