Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in complex facilities and mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings to discuss equipment pre-start-up procedures, standard operating procedures, and comprehensive commissioning documentation.
  • Develop and administer functional tests for various systems, including electrical distribution systems, switchboards, UPS, PDUs, STS, and standby generators.
  • Verify results of test reports and assist with field troubleshooting of commissioned equipment as needed.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors, and owners' agents to execute project assignments and ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the Electrical Mission Critical Field.
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Commissioning certification or PE.
  • Experience with IEEE procedures and protocols a plus.
