Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Ensure the accurate dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and improve health outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy technology, software, and best practices to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Support the pharmacy manager in analyzing performance data and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
