We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our team at University Hospitals. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty members from Radiology and other academic institutions to develop and perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex research assignments focused on cardiothoracic radiology
- Contribute to the experimental design and execution of data studies and data analysis for projects
- Develop and implement new and/or revised study protocols, research methodologies, and techniques
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and evaluate research data
- Contribute preliminary data, background, and significance for grant proposals
- Prepare scientific manuscripts, articles, abstracts, and research reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Attend and present at local and national scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
- 1+ years of basic science research experience
- 3+ years of original manuscripts as the first or senior author
- Residency and/or fellowship in medical radiology (preferred)
- Knowledge in statistical and/or epidemiological methods (preferred)
- Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) data management certification (preferred)
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. The position requires sitting for extended periods and occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
