Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Finisher Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing, applying, and touching up finish on aircraft furniture, ensuring high-quality results that meet design and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform complex high-quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture in the shop and on-board aircraft.
  2. Interpret material specifications to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail.
  3. Comply with and champion Safety, 5S, and housekeeping practices, ensuring the protection of aircraft interiors.
  4. Mentor and train lesser skilled technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Develop and implement process improvements that address safety, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma tools.
  6. Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work.
Requirements
  1. Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection, process specifications, and terminology.
  2. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  3. Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.
  4. Must be computer literate.
