Job Title: CT Technologist PRN

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist PRN to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist PRN will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper patient identification and order verification.
  • Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images are produced.
  • Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to patients as ordered by physicians and under radiologist or physician supervision.
  • Practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
  • Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort.
  • Thoroughly and accurately complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
Requirements:
  • Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
  • Relevant State licensure (where required)
  • Demonstrated CT proficiency
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CT Certification/Registration (ARRT)
  • One (1)+ year(s) CT experience
Work Environment:

This position is located at Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital, Saratoga Springs ED. The work environment is fast-paced and requires excellent communication and teamwork skills.
