Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive plans of care.
  • Provide education and facilitate learning for patients, families, and patient care team members.
  • Advocate for patients and represent their concerns to ensure their needs are met.
  • Accurately document all patient encounters and maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room.
  • Special training and/or experience in surgical procedures.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
  • Additional languages preferred.
Language Skills

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Skills

Basic computer knowledge.
