About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Provide supportive care and assistance to individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what's right for participants.
We offer a competitive pay rate of $14.00/hour for all shifts, day or night. We also offer a full benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week, including a 401(k) with a 3% company match. Additionally, we provide paid time off and holiday pay to recharge so you can be your best at work.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Skills in communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management
- Behaviors of patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility
