**Job Summary**

As a Certified Nursing Assistant I-CNA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Your duties will include feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, as well as changing linens. You may also be responsible for transferring or transporting patients.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Communicate and interact with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to ensure successful customer outcomes and maximize unit function.
* Precept team members on job function and orient patients to hospital environment and routine.
* Attend and serve on one unit committee or educational peer opportunity to improve quality and engagement.
* Document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives.
* Communicate patient needs to oncoming staff at change of shift and to RN in a timely manner for follow-up.
* Provide care in accordance with patient's plan of care and label and deliver specimens per policy.
* Maintain a safe environment, complying with NLH policies and procedures, and report and address environmental hazards and patient safety policy violations.
