Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Area Mechanic to join our team at REACH Medical Holdings. As a key member of our aircraft maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet of helicopters.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary parts and equipment are available for maintenance and repairs.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including service records and FAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance efforts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Experience with turbine-powered helicopters and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance systems, records, and support planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
  • Avionics troubleshooting and electrical repair experience.
  • AS350 experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Ability to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces for varying time durations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools, make adjustments, and repairs.
