About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab America. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover functional abilities and independence after surgery, injury, or medical crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient level of function in areas including strength, endurance, and ability to perform Activities of Daily Living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technicians, and students to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in program development and implementation to drive continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience practicing occupational therapy in a hospital or Home Health setting.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent.
  • Currently licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Current State Driver's License and Auto Liability Insurance.
