As a Senior Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation and litigation for high-exposure personal injury cases.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through trial, including maintaining case files, tracking case status, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, including organizing and managing trial exhibits, coordinating witness interviews, and preparing trial binders.
- Discovery Process: Manage the discovery process, including responding to discovery requests, coordinating depositions, and reviewing and summarizing deposition transcripts.
- Trial Logistics: Coordinate all logistics for trial, including scheduling, managing calendars, and ensuring all materials are ready and available.
- Expert Witnesses: Assist in the identification and coordination of expert witnesses, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing expert reports.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with significant experience in personal injury law and trial preparation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Skills: Strong understanding of personal injury law and trial procedures, excellent organizational and time management skills, proficient in legal research and document drafting, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, proficient in legal software and case management systems.
- Compensation: $60.00 per hour.
