Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Install, adjust, and repair complex or specialized plumbing systems, including lift stations, sump systems, and sanitary and storm systems.
  • Provide maintenance and repair services to domestic water systems, including potable water and reverse-osmosis systems.
  • Repair and maintain a variety of plumbing equipment and fixtures, such as valves, faucets, toilets, basins, garbage disposals, water tanks, and lawn sprinklers.
  • Perform metal fabricating, brazing, cutting, and repairs using various tools and equipment.
  • Assist the Master Plumber with their duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform snow removal duties and spread salt on hospital driveways, entrances, and walkways as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Journey Plumber licensure is required.
  • High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Four years of experience as a Licensed Journey Plumber is required.
