Job Summary

We're seeking a Transmission Line Intern to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As a current student or recent graduate, you'll have the opportunity to work with our experienced professionals on a variety of projects. Your tasks will include performing complex calculations, assisting engineers in preparing design packages, and attending internal meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.
  • Assist engineers in preparing design packages and performing simple calculations.
  • Attend internal meetings and participate in field reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.
  • Courses in Power/Energy a plus.
  • Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Micro station, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
