Join Our Neurodegeneration Research Team

We are seeking a highly qualified neurodegeneration physician to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a faculty-level scientist, you will be part of a major University-wide investment in neurodegeneration and caregiver science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct innovative research in neurodegeneration and caregiver science
  • Develop and implement interventions to mitigate the onset of dementia and cognitive decline
  • Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of neurodegeneration
  • Provide clinical care to adults with neurodegenerative disorders

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, PhD, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD degree
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in neurology, neuropsychology, sleep, or behavioral psychology
  • Strong research background and publication record
  • Ability to secure extramural funding
